Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the EU’s Eastern Partnership region have the potential to create jobs and drive economic growth. Obstacles such as limited access to finance, burdensome legislation and difficulties entering new markets are hindering their progress. The European Union’s EU4Business breaks down these barriers with finance, support and training to help small businesses realise their full potential. EU4Business support is delivered together with other organisations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.

    With the support of the EBRD and the EU4Business initiative of the European Union, the Business Support Centre in Rivne is organising a ‘Business school for door manufacturers’ spread out over six three-day modules between June and November, aimed at owners and managers of Ukrainian companies interested in building their business and exporting their products.

  • Zero waste production

    An EU4Business workshop for SMEs on ‘Zero Waste Production’ is being organised by the Rivne Business Support Centre, taking place in two three-day modules, the first from 25-27 July in Rivne, and the second from 29 31 August in the Zakarpattia region.

    The workshop is being organised with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the framework of the EU4Business initiative.
